30 Days of "Minute Meditations" (dedicated to Denise and Diahann)
A friend once gave me a wooden plaque that read, “Wisdom doesn’t come overnight.” It took years of life experiences for me to “get it.”
These “minute meditations” are snack food for the mind to uplift, to enlighten, and to stimulate.
Feel free to quote them, but please provide attribution.
1. Confidence speaks louder than cockiness.
2. Pride wears better than conceit.
3. Humility is the product of self-acceptance.
4. Determination carried too far becomes stubbornness.
5. Patience outlasts haste.
6. Forgiveness heals the soul; bitterness kills it.
7. Tolerance builds bridges; intolerance builds walls.

27. Cheerfulness is in great demand but short supply.
28. Trust is a fragile gift; handle with care.
29. Love for others is impossible until we find it in ourselves.
30. Spirituality is a gift from God.
